I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect and right in the city center close to all the famous landmarks. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing free maps and tons of information about the city. I was impressed by the clean rooms and several sitting areas with tables. My backpack fit easily into the locker, and I was able to keep the windows open for some fresh air. The best part? The breakfast was included in the price, a great value for my money!
All was good, no complaints.

The facilities and rooms were always clean and well-maintained. the common room had a cozy atmosphere and offered a nice place to relax and socialize. the location was great, with easy access to the city center and public transportation.
The lack of air conditioning or fans in the dorms made it uncomfortable during hot weather. the noise from the street and clock tower could be disruptive, especially if you needed to keep the windows open at night.

I really got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was comfy and clean, and I loved having my own sink. The location couldn't be better, right in the center of everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even giving me a free travel pass for my whole stay.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety.

We stayed in a small room with a double bed, a small table, and one chair. The room was a bit cold at night, but we managed to stay warm with the extra blankets provided. The hostel's location was perfect - right in the middle of the city center, close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and even provided us with dry bags for our river rafting trip. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a budget-friendly option in Bern.

the location was superb, centrally located between all the shops and historical sites. We especially enjoyed the breakfast options nearby and the convenience of free shower gel. the community room was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen, and the comfortable mattresses made for a great night's sleep.
Although the rooms were comfortable, the walls were quite thin and allowed for some noise transfer.

Location and free mobility pass I spent Christmas at this hostel and I loved it! the location was amazing, right in the heart of the city with shops and restaurants nearby. the best part was that I got a free mobility pass which allowed me to use all the trains, buses and trams for free in the city. I even went on a funicular ride which was included in the pass. the hostel was clean and had a great atmosphere.
Thin walls and power outlet placement the only negative aspects were that the walls were thin and I could hear everything outside my room. the power outlets in the room were not ideally placed and I couldn't have my phone charging next to me.

Additionally, the breakfast was free and had great options like cereal, milk, rice, and pasta. All in all, I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at this hotel.

The Christmas stay was lovely! The hotel had complimentary hot cocoa and cookies every night - perfect for the cold winter nights. The hotel was located just a short walk from many great cafes, restaurants, and bars. We also loved that the hotel provided all guests with free public transit passes, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a cozy common area with a fireplace where we could relax and unwind.
The bunk beds were a bit squeaky and unstable, which can be annoying for light sleepers. the curtains were not very thick, so it could be difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to light.
